Change heart into upvote and downvote

Some people would like to use up & downvoting instead of liking ideas.
When I created ProductLIft, I considered this as well. My pro's & con's are below.

Let me know what you think in the comments. The more people like this idea, the higher the chance I will adjust current behaviour.

Pro (move to up & downvote):

  • Insights into how many people dislike an idea.
  • Works for Youtube.

Con (stay with likes):

  • Someone that has just added their idea can be discouraged when a lot of people dislike their idea.
  • Works for ideation like Lego Ideas.
  • Many people won't even bother to dislike an idea.
