I think that this feature (Change Post Author) might be a quicker, easier lift so it would be great to get this feature added quickly. Sometimes I might be adding a feature idea for someone else on the team, based on an informal Slack convo, or an email thread. I need to be able to add the idea that someone suggested, and attribute it to them, instead of having everything showing up as ideas from me.
Perfect example... When @Ruben posted this feature idea, on my behalf, he doesn't have the ability to attach it to me, as a user, but he did have the ability to mark my user as one of the voters.
I'm in a position where I need to add close to one hundred feature ideas that have been submitted in the past, and NONE of them are from me. If I do a bulk upload, all of the ideas would be attributed to me.
Possible way to implement this:
Create a "Change Author" button/feature and when it's clicked, a cursor is immediately blinking in a search field (with maybe 3 of the most common post author names showing below) then as I start typing the system is doing an active search for users first and last names and even email addresses.
Then if the name does not appear in the list there could also be an option to "+ Add New User" which if clicked, I (an admin) could put their email address and add their name. This person would then be added as a registered user on the account. You could attach them with an "invited" status and send them an email letting them know that they were added to an idea... OR... an MVP could be creating a new "Status" like "Unverified Participant" or something, which would signify their user email is attached to one or more pieces of content, but they haven't created an account yet... OR... tie this user to the status that is already in the system, on the INVITE USERS page - "Invite without sending an email. The user can then be used for voting on behalf."
Here's a little mockup I just created, related to this idea. I imagine modal like this could conveniently allow Admins to change/update authors quite easily: https://share.cleanshot.com/1ZkPDfgX

You can now change the post author by clicking on the author on the "meta" section.
You can also directly upload posts in bulk with a specific author.
