Version, Release, and Platform Settings for Posts

Added

For some applications, product managers would want to write down the version or release. This can be helpful to track developments and such.

Features:

  • Manage releases/versions
  • Ability to filter boards on release/version
  • Ability to display the release/version on the card and post

We’ve made it easier than ever to organize and manage your posts with the ability to set version, release, and platform metadata. Here's what's new:

  • Version: Specify the software version (e.g., "2.1.0", "v5.4").
  • Release: Add a release name or number (e.g., "Autumn Update", "R24", "2024.1").
  • Platform: Indicate the platform or environment (e.g., iOS, Android, Web).

How It Works:

Edit Meta Fields: You can click the meta area of an existing post to set or edit these fields directly.

Set During Creation: While creating a new post, click "Organize" on the form to define these details immediately.

Automatic Filters on Tabs: When posts include versions, releases, or platforms, filter buttons are automatically displayed on the tabs. You can toggle their visibility in the tab settings.

Post Management Columns: The relevant columns (version, release, platform) automatically appear in the post management view, giving you a clear overview of your data.

This enhancement makes it easier to keep your posts organized, filterable, and tailored to your specific needs!
