How Customers Use The Portal

How customers use the portal

A short tour you can share with your end users when introducing them to your feedback portal. Link them directly to this article, or copy-paste into your own onboarding emails.

What this portal is for

This is where the team collects feature requests, ideas, and feedback from customers. You can:

  • See what others are asking for.
  • Vote on the requests that matter to you (one vote per person).
  • Add your own ideas.
  • Follow updates as the team plans, ships, or declines a request.

Finding what's relevant

  • Use the search bar at the top to look up an idea before posting (chances are someone already raised it).
  • Browse boards (in the sidebar / top nav) to see different topic areas.
  • Filter by status to see what's planned, in progress, or shipped.

Voting

Open any post and click the vote button. Your vote counts toward the team's prioritization. You can change your mind and remove the vote at any time.

If you have additional context, leave a comment so the team knows your specific use case.

Submitting a new idea

See Submitting a feature request.

Following updates

When you vote on a post or post a new one, you'll get email updates when:

  • The team replies with a comment.
  • The status changes (e.g. moves to Planned, In Progress, or Released).
  • A status update is posted.

You can manage email notifications from your profile.
