How to get there: Go to Settings in the sidebar → Translations
Review the state of every translated post and act on stale, missing, or hand-edited translations from one screen. Use this after adding a language, changing your portal's default source language, or when an admin has been editing translations by hand.
What each status means
- Fresh - the translation matches the current source. Nothing to do.
- Stale - the source has changed since the translation was made. The stored translation is not served until it is refreshed.
- Missing - no translation exists for this locale yet.
- Manual - an admin edited this locale by hand. Protected from automatic overwrites.
A manual translation whose source has since changed shows up under Needs review so you can decide whether the edit still applies.
Filter tabs
- All - every post that has a target locale.
- Stale - anything a fresh AI pass would refresh.
- Needs review - manual translations whose source has drifted.
- Manual - all admin-edited translations, regardless of hash.
Per-locale actions
Click Actions on a row to open the per-locale action panel.
- Reset to AI - clears the manual flag and requeues a fresh AI translation. The current stored text stays visible until the new one arrives, then is replaced.
- Confirm still valid - stamps the current source hash onto a manual translation so it stops surfacing as needs-review. Use this when you have checked the source change and the existing translation is still correct.
- Retranslate - requeues an AI translation for this locale only. Available for non-manual rows.
Retranslate all stale
Open the Stale filter and use the Retranslate all stale button at the top to requeue every stale post in one action. A credit check runs first; if the balance is too low, the action is blocked with a top-up prompt. Manual translations are never touched by this bulk action.
When translations are paused
If your portal ran out of credits, an amber banner appears at the top of the screen. Retranslate actions are held until credits are topped up. Existing fresh translations continue to serve as normal.
