Customize how ProductLift's AI features generate and process content. These instructions guide the AI when it creates or summarizes posts on your behalf.
Provide instructions that the AI follows when generating content in bulk (for example, when using the bulk-generate feature on multiple posts at once). Use this to set the tone, length, or formatting rules the AI should follow for your portal.
Example: "Write in a professional but friendly tone. Keep descriptions under 200 words. Always mention the user benefit."
Set default instructions that apply when the AI generates or rewrites an individual post. These instructions affect AI-assisted writing in the post editor.
Example: "Use active voice. Start with the problem being solved. Include acceptance criteria as a bullet list."
If you use multiple post types (such as Feature Requests, Bug Reports, or Announcements), you can provide different AI instructions for each content type. This way, the AI adapts its output depending on what kind of post is being created.
Example for Bug Reports: "Include steps to reproduce, expected behavior, and actual behavior sections."
Example for Announcements: "Write in an upbeat, celebratory tone. Highlight what changed and why it matters."
