How to get there: Click Users in the sidebar → click the Invite button.
There are three ways to bring customers into your portal so they can vote, comment, and stay in the loop.
The fastest way to add a handful of people at a time.
New users are automatically added to any matching Segments (saved filters based on email domain, MRR, tags, or activity). You don't need to tag imports manually.
Uploading more than 20 people at once? Use the bulk import wizard at Users → Import instead. It auto-maps CSV/Excel columns with AI and shows a preview before creating anyone. The invite screen has an "Upload CSV" link that jumps you straight there.
The invite email is separate from the welcome email (which fires when someone signs up on their own via Settings → Emails).
To change the default text used in every invite email:
That message becomes the body of every invite email. The standard greeting and accept-invitation button are added around it automatically, so you only need to write the middle part.
If you want to override the default for a single batch, tick Personalize invitation message on the invite screen and edit it there. That does not change the default.
Copy the portal URL from the sidebar of the invite screen (or paste {{portal_url}} in your app, help center, or newsletter). Anyone with the link can sign up on their own.
If you'd rather use your own inbox, copy the ready-made example email from the sidebar of the invite screen and send it from your own address. This is handy when you want the invite to look like a personal note from a specific team member.
