Invite team members

How to get there: Click Users in the sidebar → click the Invite team button.

Team members can manage all posts, users, and settings in your portal, see internal comments on posts, and access analytics and integrations.

How to invite

  1. Go to Users and click Invite team.
  2. Paste or type email addresses. Press Enter, Tab, or , to turn each address into a chip. You can also paste a list (comma-, semicolon-, or newline-separated).
  3. Optionally click a chip to add a name.
  4. Optionally tick Personalize invitation message and write a short intro. A live preview shows what recipients see.
  5. Click Send invites.

Team members always receive an invite email. There is no silent-add mode for team members (that option only exists for customer invites, where the workflow is to prep accounts for voting on behalf).

Roles

ProductLift has two roles:

Role Who What they can do
Admin Team members Everything: posts, users, settings, analytics, integrations, internal comments
Member Customers Suggest, vote, comment, follow status changes

There is no read-only admin tier. If you want to give internal folks limited access (support, sales, account managers), invite them as customers and use User Groups plus per-board access rules.

Seat limits

All plans allow unlimited members. Team seats are limited per plan:

  • Trial: limited team seats (shown at the top of the invite screen)
  • Paid plans: 100 team seats by default

If you hit your seat limit, upgrade your plan or (on the F pricing variation) add extra admins from your billing page. If you're not sure which plan you're on, check Account & Billing in the sidebar.

Removing team members

To remove a team member:

  1. Go to Users and find the person in the list.
  2. Change their role to Member (if they should still see the portal as a customer) or delete their account entirely.
  3. Deleted accounts are soft-deleted for 30 days before permanent removal.

Downgrading someone from Admin to Member does not delete their content (posts, votes, comments) — it only removes their admin-side access.
