How to get there: Go to Settings in the sidebar → Boards → open the board you want to configure → Sorting & Filters section.
Every board (Feedback, Roadmap, Changelog) exposes its own set of filter chips and sort controls to end users. This is where you decide which chips are visible, what order they appear in, and which sort visitors land on by default. Configuration is per board, so a Roadmap can hide the versions filter while the Changelog keeps it.
For Feedback and Roadmap boards, pick the sort visitors see first (most votes, newest, oldest, most commented, or Manually for hand-ordered boards). Toggle Show sorting dropdown to users to let visitors pick a different sort themselves; leave it off to lock the board to your default.
Changelog boards are always sorted by latest status change and don't expose a sort dropdown, so this control is hidden on changelog boards.
Each toggle in the Filter Options panel adds or removes a chip from the board header. All chips are per board:
Turning a chip off does not remove the underlying data; the filter is still available via URL parameters and admin views. It only hides the chip for end users on that board.
The Category Filter dropdown picks how the portal-wide categories are surfaced on this board:
The order of the chips, columns, or dropdown options follows the drag-and-drop order set in Manage categories. The label on each chip is the category name from that same page.
Click Save at the top of the Sorting & Filters card. Changes are live for end users on the next page load.
